Hi All,
Just trying to fit my Dlask barrel to my Dlask reciever and it's extremely tight,
What's the best way to get these together and lined up properly ? It feels like I will have to use a fair amount of force to get them together and am worried that when the barrel is all the way in the reciever, if it's not perfectly aligned, I won't be able to turn it. Any suggestions ? grease?, hammer?,emery cloth?
I did a search but couldn't come up with anything.
Thanks in advance...Mike

the dlask 10/22 barrels are all tight, but once it went on I had no complaints. I put the barrel on a ruger receiver by placeing the receiver firmly (be careful not to put too much force on it) in a padded vice and heated it with a heat gun, barrel then slipped right in. I was very happy with mne once installed, Dlask makes a great barrel.

in addition to this, put the barrel in the freezer before hand. i bet it will fall right into place.

be prepared some difficulty if you want to take it apart however...

Thats what I did, I didnt use heat cause I was worried about warping. I just put the barrel in the freezer, left it there for a couple of hours (cause I had other things I needed to do) came back and it slid right in.

Cheers

Thanks for the advice guys, it worked great ! Pieces went together just like they were made for each other!, Now if the trigger bits would just arrive.........................................
