I have a stainless/laminate 10/22 that I bought a month and a half ago, and i have a cheapo simmons .22 scope on it. My problem is that it is shooting way left, so far in fact, that I have run out of adjustment and it still hits 3-5inches to the left at 80-100ish yards! Looking at the weaver mount, it appears to be square with the barrell, and I have a pretty good eye for square.
I tried the open sights, and they are quite possibly the worst sights that I have tried on a rifle to date. I only have one other scope and it is dialed in nicely right now so I would rather not take it off to test if it is the scope. I am really hoping that I am missing something glaringly obvious and noob-like, I can live with the embarrassment, I can't live with the 10/22 open sights!!
thank you in advance
