Remington's new HyperSonic steel ammo?

They are great to set up on and decoy - and yes they will decoy. Having a flock of pteradactyl's landing in a spread at 20 yards is pretty interesting. Just stay very well concaled.

Buy a Patternmaster choke...shortens your shot string and I can tell you it is the way to go. The ammo is also 27 bucks a box - I can figure out a lead for that kind of cash.

I recently spoke with pattermaster they say not to use anything over 1550 fps in their chokes. If anyone wants to read the email I'd be happy to send it. Also to the op I bought a couple of boxes to try and I feel its all hype. It didn't pattern to well out of my Benelli or Beretta.

I too have shot a couple of boxes and will not be buying more. The pellet count is really low compared to other rounds and they will not kill a cripple on the water.

turkeyslayer who shoots only 3 boxes a year?

for waterfowl? if so youre not in the right spots.

i buy the cheaper winchester HV's 1550fps work fine

According to a study conducted by Winchester the average bird hunter fires three boxes of shells a year and kills between 5 and ten birds.

For the record, I normally shoot 2 cases a year at waterfowl, my bird to shell average thus far is about 1.4 shells per bird.

I tried the Remington Hypersonic, like other have said the patterns are pretty poor out of stock Browning invector plus chokes.

i am surprised at that study, i have shot over a case already this year; just getting started. i guess some people dont have the time to get out much.
