I put this post up in the M4 forum.
"maybe we all need to lighten up and keep everything in perspective.
am I totally impressed with Marstar?
no.
am I totally impressed with ANY outfit?
not really.
is John a prophet, out to bring us salvation, or a businessman out to make a buck?
make a buck.... unless he's offering redemption through automatic weapons....
in the meantime, he'll make some people happy, p!ss others off, etc.
we're the customers- ultimately, we talk with our dollars, and that's what matters.
if Marstar's got what we want, preordering or not, great. if not, we go elsewhere.
and the fact that Marstar's doing well... guess it means on the most part, people keep coming back.
end of story. "
As John pointed out, prophet should have been spelled profit.
Lighten up folks. Some little things are going to fall through the cracks- it's just hard not to be p*ssed off when it's your little things.
If Marstar wasn't satisfying the majority of its customers , it wouldn't be in business. 'nuff said.
Edit: but as John pointed out earlier in this thread, Gunnutz, and retail, are a pretty small part of his business. So, that should also tell us where he'll focus his efforts.
