First of all let me begin by saying that I am entirely pleased with the way my 760 is shooting.
Its a .308, 19" barrel under a Bushnell 3200 1.5-4.5X scope. With factory ammo (180 gr. PSP Core-Lokt), scope at 4.5X, shooting off a pair of sandbags and my untrained shooting skills, my last two 3-shot groups were 2 3/8'" and 2 1/2" at 100 yards. Not as tight as my Win Model 70 but more than adequate for killing north woods whitetails.
I was impressed that a pump action could shoot like this and that got me wondering; with handloaded ammo, from a proper bench and perhaps some instruction on shooting technique, what sort of groups might I be able to squeeze out of this rig?
