I own a G17, 21 and 34. Thousands of rounds have gone through the G17 & 21 without a failure of anykind.
Yesterday at IDPA my G34 wouldn't chamber a round about 3 or 4 different times. It's fairly new and I have shot about 500 rounds in it without an issue before this.
Mind you I never cleaned it for about 300-400 rounds but I have done this with my other Glocks as well.
When the misfeeds would happen I would look down and the slide would be back about a full inch. I could see the whole round with the tip just wanting to go up the ramp and into the barrel. All I had to do each time was just pull the slide back and let it go to chamber the round.
This started happening after I slammed a very tightly loading 10 round mag into the gun (could be just a coincidence). Could I have damaged anything by pushing this mag into the gun? It basically took heman strength to put that last round in the mag. So I am thinking I may have put too much force shoving the mag into the gun.
I haven't been back after cleaning/lubing the gun to see if that was the issue. Anybody have issues after jamming a tightly loaded mag into a Glock?

I am just so used to my Glocks feeding reloads that other guns won't. I am going to try and get to the range tonight with different ammo as well as the ammo in question.
