Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up on a conversation I had with one of the site sponsors in regards to pricing. I pressed the guy hard for details and although he was reluctant to spill all the beans, I did manage to finagle a price out of him.

We will see the pricing of the ACR around the 2200ish mark, no more then 2500.

I believe he was talking about the enhanced model because all the dealers I spoke to have got there permits ok'd with the folding stock version. This is great news for us. Although, it was expected seeing as price points in the US have dropped significantly. The ACR's are not flying off the shelves as expected down there. Basic models can be had for under 2K.

So as of right now we are waiting on Bushmaster to get there s**t together and get their recalls sorted out so we can get some shipments up here. Also Questar is in the developmental stages of figuring out how to get the 18.6" barrels done. For me I'll buy one with the 16" barrel and get the 18.6 with the longer hand guard down the road.

IMHO if it truly stays at the quoted price point then I believe these will fly off the shelves. You can't build an AR with these types of features for that kinda money. Not to mention being able to get it out in the bush. Me thinks the XCR sales will plummet...

You should be smart like me and just buy someone else the ACR...


I am buying my wife one... I know she won't use it because the only color option is tactical black, and that doesn't go with anything. This way I can just borrow it indefinitely.



On the other hand, she apparently has bought me some size 5 LV shoes





I plan to sell them for ammo.

Thats what were waiting on right now. The rifle has been given an FRT# it's classed exactly like the XCR, restricted unless it has an 18.6" barrel. It's just the waiting game right now to see when Bushmaster will re-release the ACR back into the public. Once the go ahead has been given by Bushy I'm sure the pre-ordering will commence...
