Mossberg Tactical .22

How many of those other forums though were in the US? Remember in the US they have a huge selection of AR 22's and dont have to worry about "restricted". Then add to that their prices down there are cheap as all hell.

So yes comparing this Mossberg to ANY of the other AR 22's this gun will fall short. Simply put though, for us canadians it's cheap, it looks like an actual AR, and its non-restricted.

Yes I understand that but I just getting the general feeling that it has a lot of flaws and is not worth the money.

-it has a has a crappy mag release
-it it has jamming problems
-the quality of the gun is overall poor

My mag release was a little stiff at first but works great now.
I have fed mine a bunch of different ammo now and it has had 0 problems and that included some Remington longs not LR and some old Yellow Jacket HV truncated cone that will not feed in any semi-auto I have tried it in but this one. I would imagine most complaints of jamming problems come from people that didn't give it a thorough cleaning originally.
It's a $250CA .22 autoloader, what were they expecting, a KIMBER????? But hey, to each their own.

checked it out at the store yesterday, some nice accessory rails on it, but it weighed about 1.5 pounds because it is all plastic.

on the plus side i picked up an sr-22 instead and could not be happier!

2 of the 3 problems you just described covers about 90% of all .22 semi-auto rifles!! f:P:2:

Not my SR22 that is one well made sweet little toy. I never get jams and have yet to have any issues with the butler creek steel lips mag, other than the skinniness of it. (If it where modeled after an ar mag it would look awesome);)

yea, went back to the range again. Started out with some CCI mini mag ammo, no jams, fantastic! didnt have much though :( As soon as i switched to the Wildcats (that im still trying to shoot off), Jam, fire, fire, Jam, fire, Jam.........FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU Cheap Ammo! lol

You have a point there. I am up #### creek when it comes to semi's cause all I fire is the cheap Winchester 555 stuff.

Pretty sure I just bought P&D's last one today, pretty pumped to get it out and shoot it.

Looks like a good deal for that cheap to me!

Im not to optimistic on a big mag for these since it's a mossberg plinkster and they have no high cap mags out there that I've seen, but I hope there is someone that will put them out. The demand will be huge!

Any word on the 25 round mags yet?

Funny you should ask. I just got a phone call telling me that I will get a couple of testers in a couple of weeks. My contact thinks they will be on the market by mid-December but says don't hold him to that. The ones he saw were pre-production and if you can believe it he can't even remember if they are skinny or AR mag looking, geez:confused: Mine are going to be from the first production tests and I am to give them my feelings on them ASAP. I will of course post pics as soon as they show up:D
