Some folks love to make the situation more complex than it is. Let's examine the timeline:
Gun functions flawlessly, parts are added, gun doesn't work. Rather than apply Occam's razor and go for the simplest solution, the OP cleans the gun and relubes it. And it still doesn't work. Yet he never takes the parts off which were installed just before the gun stopped running.
Take the Magpul parts off one at a time and you'll probably find the cause. My money's on the BAD lever.
Brownells, been on a Norinco 311 and absolutely no problems at all.
you have a picture of it mounted on the firearm? how much was shipping to Canada?
Maybe B.A.D is a bad idea itself to start with.
I`ve used this for about 4 years now and Never a problem.

Looks like a better solution to me "Simple buttons and muscle memory for the win." +1

Maybe B.A.D is a bad idea itself to start with.
I'm with Petrock. I am a total newbie with the AR thing but I am just going to go with right hand squeeze trigger and drop mags. Left hand insert mag and close bolt. I get screwed up even doing that as I proved at the CQB yesterday.
I plan to keep it simple and practice. The over sized bolt hold open paddle seems promising though I must say. We will see.
Well went to the range today, the B.A.D lever came off and the problem went away. It was definitely the B.A.D lever. I’m not sure if I’m going to try the Phase5 or not, I really like to have the controls on the right side of the rifle, but I’m also thinking of selling the Norc to get a XCR, so we’ll see. Thank for the help, I hope this thread can help someone else before they buy the B.A.D lever for a Norc.![]()
You got that bass ackwards.
The quality "Made in USA" part doesn't work in cheap "Made in China" guns.
Apparently cheap "Made in China" parts don't work so good in cheap "Made in China" guns either, eh.

... and the beatings continue.![]()
give these guys a break. If you paid double for something and found out the cheap one was just as good, you'd spend a lot of time running the cheap one down too.![]()
