North Korean SKS

Congratulations on aquiring one of the hardest to locate SKS rifles.

I have no idea what that might be worth in Canada, but in the USA, it would fetch a pretty penny.

I was linked here by a member of the SKS boards.

I can point out that your rifle is not missing too much. Most internal parts are exactly the same as the Russian and will interchange nicely.

The stock will be the hard part, as it takes a laminated stock with two cross pins in the wrist.

Here is a picture of mine.

Also it appears that your receiver is not drilled for a grenade launching sight, so I am thinking you do not have this lever.

I'd GUESTIMATE that the rifle you show in the condition I can see from the limited PICS would bring at least $800 here in the states.

Now having said that, your 1949 Russian spike bayonet rifles that sell up there for $450 would bring $1200 here.

Best Regards, and congratulations.

Hey D,welcome.

Howdy Woodbeef!

I found out where you hide during the day.

And you guys have better Smilys up here North of the Border!

Vietnam bringback is my best guess. It's where most of them came from up North and down here.

Does not look like it fared very well after arriving, or perhaps was taken apart to duffle it home. Parts were lost????

Just a guess.
