Korean War: Russian version

Add to the Russian aid the amount of small arms captured when the allies tried to help post WW1 with the white Russian ( we want our Ross's back damn it ) .

Spam , locomotives , Britain sent many planes over as well. the Russians had manpower in abundance and that was it.

Well if Mr Stalin had ssssoooo many oriental Russians killed on the Korean peninsula, certainly, this was the Korean War's biggest secret.....

I mean besides the Mig-15 pilots, radar operators and AAA gunners.
That is a whole lot of airforce personnel KIA (25,000?)

Maybe, just maybe, the North Korean rear echelon was heavily manned by Russian non-combat troops.

Something stinks about this story.
 
Many of the Russian soldiers that fought in Afghanistan, came from the then neighboring, (Muslim) Soviet States, becaue they could easily "blend in".

I therefore would not be surprised if Russia, during the Korean war, also had send a large numbers of ethnic Asiatic Russian soldiers to fight along side communist Chinese ?

In regards to the human waves the Russians sent ahead of the tanks when attacking the Nazi's, it has now become officially known, in a much more open Russia, that upwards 1 million prisoners from the Gulags died as bait for German bullets and mines, ahead of the attacking Russian tanks. Heavely armed NKVD trops, in the safety of rear of the tanks, ensured that no Gulag prisoner escaped to the safety of the rear.

It is, among others known, that a group of 1700 political purges Russian army officers, attacking the German lines, ahead of the tanks while yelling: "HURRAY". Only 300 of them survived the attack.

"Advisors", much like the US troops in the opening years of the Vietnam conflict.

i watched a Doco about a US sniper in Korea who found himself staring at a russian through his scope one day, said there wasnt much hesitation from his end .. so its not as if it was a secret, just not widely publicisied.

The true facts of historical events have an interesting tendency to differ from the versions written in the books don't they? You can't say this really surprises you...
 
Willing to bet if Western and Russian governments stop trying to be friendly there will be more talking about russian direct involvement in various conflicts.

Well thats quite the stormfront answer. Ever looked at a map?

You do realize only about 40% of Russia is actually on the European side, while the majority lies on the Asian side, with the Ural mountains being the divide.
However, Russia's history and culture tends to lend itself more-so towards a more christian roman-era civilization so the majority of the populace tended towards a more european lifestyle, although what you seem to consider Russian indeed consists of more than just what you think are white faced europeans.
I'll also give you the fact that about 75% of Russia's population is located in the western area's.

HOWEVER, saying Russia is flat out European is simply ignorant and is usually the sort of drivel white supremacists like to spout.
 
If you are talking Russians as an ethnic group, you are right. They are descended from the Rus (mediaeval Swedes) who intermarried with the local tribes along the High Road to Miklagard, notably in the areas around Ladoga, Novgorod and Kiev.

These people, the Baltic Russians and the Ukrainians, are the original civilised Russians, from 'way back when it was called Bjarmaland and their neighbours were the wild men: Gepids, Pecheneg...... and the Moskaly, who built a little town of their own. You might have heard of it: Moskva.

But Russia did expand just a little bit and now, as a COUNTRY, there is more of it in Asia than there is in Europe. Sharing Russian NATIONALITY are a couple of hundred other ethnic groups, including some who can actually talk with my Sioux neighbours, albeit in a most hesitant manner.

So everybody is right!

Given the mob that ran the Soviet Union, you can bet that non-white Soviet Citizens were sent to Korea to fight, it's one way the USSR avoided the ethnic break away states that popped up when the system collapsed. Stalin and his ilk kept them busy getting killed elsewhere.

The Chinese discovered America in 1421, 71 years before Christopher Columbus (1492).
The American Indian has Chinese DNA as well as Portugese and Italians that dates back
600 years. Chinese Monuments from that period exist in those countries. The Chinese sold/traded the maps to the Portugese and Spanish before 1492.
That's just the tip of the iceburg. A good read.

i bet this book is in the "fiction" section, not the "history" section.

north america was known to europeans 500 years before columbus. greenland even had a bishop.

the guy uses linguistic false friends as evidence. he even claims the chinese sailed up the st lawrence building canals as they went.

I find it interesting that the Chinese appear to be ramping up thier "history" of early North American exploration claims. Presently about 20% of the big icebreakers capable of serious polar exploration are made/owned by China. China does not have any land bordering the Arctic Ocean.
