Time to Delete! Thanks

I'm sorry OZZ that you feel the way you do. I pay close to $1000 a year for the privilege to be able to post on here.Your here at zero cost Do you think CGN lets dealers on here for free?

I'm trying to do the best I can, to keep all of you up to date with any information about the product lines we represent. This has been well over a year since we began talks with Kel-Tec, starting in October 2009. Its been a long hard road to get things to where they are at this point. I'm very proud that we've made it this far and were able to bring these firearms to you that really care. Two months ago after the many rejected export applications by the U.S. Department Of State, Kel-Tec was going to pull the plug on the deal.

I'm not getting rich on this deal guys, I wish I was. Its all about the long term here for myself and Vault Distribution.

The price issue I will explain in a very elementary school way. This is not meant to offend anyone.

Every company in business that manufactures and sells their products has distributor pricing. Most companies offer discounts on the quantity you purchase from them. 0 to 50 one price, 50 to 100 another price and 1000 to 5000 a greater discount. The bottom line, the more you buy the better deal you get.

Vault Distribution had to commit to close to $100,000 USD in guns from Kel-Tec to get the prices we have now. Plus financial commitments for double that within next year so that Kel-Tec would even consider the Canadian market. I had to re finance my house to come up with the investment capital.

Do you really think Kel-Tec needs to export their guns to Canada? The RFB-C has been nothing but a huge hassle to them, and it costs more money to produce than the U.S.model. They have to re tool every time they manufacture the Canadian version. Time and money in the manufacturing world. The moral of the story is, when our price comes down we will extend this along to our dealers and then to you. We are already looking at a major purchase of Sub2000's for next year. This will drop the price if we do. Oh.. to add, the RFB is the only Kel-Tec product with zero volume discounts, oh I tried, I'm lucky to get any at all with all the majors in the U.S. clambering for them.

Very soon Vault will be launching our own forum connected to the Vault Distribution website. This forum will have an area exclusively focused on Kel-Tec products, like KTOG in the states. Kel-Tec thought it was a great idea. When the forum is ready to go, Vault will be giving away some free Kel-Tec merchandise. I will let you all know.

In future if anybody has any questions, Pm me or send me an email.

Thanks again for all your support guys

To Vault...hey, don't pay the nay sayers any attention...there are tons of us who are giddy with excitement at the prospect of this firearm being brought in. I, for one, am happy that you've stuck it out and survived the hurdles. Yes, I'm on a list to get one of the first ones coming in and will gladly pay the price. So let me say a big THANK YOU! Lastly...RFB for Xmas...bring it on!!

Have one of the first batch reserved...no regrets. Wanted it
and will pay to have it and sacrifice other things to do so.

If you want it and can live with the price, buy one.

If you want it and can't live with the price, don't.

If you don't want it, why even post about it...

It costs money to keep the lights on and the doors open. Those who
spend the money to run the business deserve to cover their costs AND
turn a profit, when possible.

To the world of firearms manufacturers, the Canadian market is negligible.
We're fortunate to have someone bringing in yet another innovative piece.
Thanks to folks like Vault, CanAm, etc...

Thanks Vault...looking forward to running it through the paces...

well said!!!!!!^^^^^^^^

Vault thanks for bringing this to market for us.:)

For those who think there are huge profit margins for our vendors (on this and other items in the hobby) , please feel free to become a vendor. I mean the profit is huge, so why wouldn't you pony up your cash and time and reap the rewards for such a lucrative business?

Thanks again Vault for all your efforts and all the other vendors here that do so much for our hobby (and deal with all the import/export red tape).

Just buy the thing without all the asskissing.

Exactly! The dude is doing it for the cash and there is nothing wrong with that just dont come with the I`m doing it for the love of it bulls**t.

Dont feel sorry for Vault, he`s going to make out very well with this deal.

Check out the slo-mo footage around :20.....why would they have the gas system open like that? Ejection? You sure as hell would want to make sure you know where your fingers are.

I think thats the charging handle system. Its probably linked to the bolt carrier (like the SCAR) as opposed to a non-reciprocating charging handle on the XCR or the ACR.

Speaking of RFB magazines...
... the main issue is cost. We have to commit to buy hundreds to get a fare price and make it worth the manufacturers time to sell them to us, and handle the paperwork hassle. Not to forget our time. If we bring in a smaller amount the price would be very high. Still working on it though.

I want 10 magazines for myself no matter what. If you are going to make them from scratch and there are going to be huge expenses in it, why not also invest in building a bolt action rifle which would take magazines of 'similar' dimensions. Not that I am a legal expert, but from my understanding, even if there was only one such rifle in Canada, any magazines made for that rifle (however many that may be) would be legal to use as we see fit. Forget the pistol idea - go with the above idea and you can have 20 round mags. As for cost, I am sure many people would be willing to pay extremely high prices for 20 round magazines which would function in the RFB. And not to get into a price debate, but I am sure that the customers who would buy a $2500 rifle would also have enough money to pay a premium for magazines as well.

What I find really funny not long ago many on this post wanted to purchase the P MAGS when there was a shortage and they paid a hefty premium for them and as such I heard no one complain about paying $60.00 + for a Pmag.So quite whining and #####ing because it is what it is you want you pay for it
