NO!

Well it's only fair that NZ can at the very least have silencers...
Aside from shooting there's not much to do there except shear sheep and make movies about hobbits....
Kidding...
you ass, i oughta move there and get some of those for myself! haha
Silencers should be legal and possibly even mandatory at some ranges. I've seen a lot of housing projects creeping towards ranges. It's only a matter of time before they start complaining about noise from the ranges.
Unfortunately Canada still has many firearms laws that were created by people who know nothing about firearms. C68 should have been labelled the Die Hard law. If it was in the movie die hard then it was prohibited. Not based on reality.
Time to move to New Zealand
Forget the fact that using one effectively requires subsonic rounds, reduced loads, and lest we forget, concealement becomes a non issue.
Isn't it sweden where they are mandatory in some instances so as to reduce the noise pollution?
Everybody needs a can
One of the nice things about living South of the Canadian-US border (and in a free state)
Everybody needs a can
Register a Corporate Entity that has a need for one, such as a municipality, or a pest control company, for instances, and the permits can be got. Jump through the hoops and start up a company that makes them for export, and you can even take them out to the range for testing.
IIRC there is at least one fella on CGN that is involved in such.
We have been considering for some time now to make these barrel shrouds for the AR 15, M14 & the VZ 58 platform's. Being that they are a barrel shroud they will make your long barrel look shorter but still give the effect & looks of a silencer although we are afraid that the demand isn't there for this product.
If we notice enough interest in this thread maybe in the new year we will release something for all those who dis-like Fenix.NZ torturing us.

Why limit yourself to only one?
That would be me.
I have never heard of a pest control company being licenced to own silencers. AFAIK they can only be purchased by government entities (federal, provincial or municiple).
If some smart gun owner had purchased that entire town in Saskatchewan that was for sale they could have gotten a Public Agency Number as the local government and thus become eligible to own silencers for town use.![]()
