^^^^ that is a DPMS, not an AR10. Motivation failed!
And I hate all three of you now. I need a 308 Black Rifle too!

Hahaha.
I have a DPMS LR-308 too. It's a nice target rifle. But yes not a "true" AR10 I guess.

Thats an ARtranny !!!!!![]()
Fireball,
I'm hesitant to mess around with that load considering it worked so well. But we might want to see if we can fine tune it a bit. Plus get rid of whatever Tikka fire formed brass you've slipped into the mix.
Which of course only made me wonder what else you were doing while reloading. Then I realized it's you and knew I really didn't want to know the answer. I'm still thinking you used the 7.62x54r dies instead. That way there won't be any nightmares about handling those rounds.
Also was thinking about the 175 SMK. I wanted to get a load for the 5R. Considering what works in the 5R also seems to be the same for the AR10, it should give us a good round. The only issue of course is that this round would be best after 600 yards and the range only goes to 300 meters. Oh well still good for the 5R and might be better at 300. Worth trying at least.
Oh wow look at this guy. How many reloaded rounds have you showed up with at the range... "0". I wouldn't hesitate to guess that your reloads are full of Old Stock.
Before messing with the load we need to strap these rifles down to the bench so we can eliminate your massive operator error.
. Apparently I have some reloading to do.
does the CF still use ar10's?
I believe so but can't back that up with anything. Finding information is very difficult.
... The lower I made at work from scratch and have put almost 1000 rds thru it without a single hitch. It's waay more fun than my AR15, although with the AR10, M14, 308 bolt gun a carbine AR 10 upper in the works. I am going to need another job to keep them fed.![]()
Looks like those prairie dogs learnt how to build some serious forts![]()
Not Texas.
I made the muzzle brake, it's a direct copy of the SEI navy brake and seems to work quite well.
