Well I must of dumped around 1000rds down the barrel and decieded I better give it a good cleaning seeing how my buddy asked me to go out rabbit hunting tomorrow morning. So I started to take it all apart, it was going well untill I went to remove the two side pieces. They wouldnt' come apart. I went to youtube and figured out what was wrong. The mag release screw must be removed as well. No big deal. So I removed everything and knocked out the two pins and removed the trigger assembly. I just cleaned that up, it wasn't too bad. I then removed the action. Cleaned it all up, ( man it was dirty and gritty! ). Once it was all clean I went to reinstall the action. I had a little difficulty trying to compress the spring to get it back in. I tryed, and tryed, finally ending up bending the damn spring to the point where it broke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
Yes I broke the spring which gives the action it's recoil!. I'm not sure of the actual names, but you must know what I'm talking about. I'll have to call the store where I bought the gun and see if they can order me in another spring. What a bummer. Looks like I'm taking the Mossberg 835 UlitMag rabbit hunting tomorrow now!!!!
Oh I must say... this gun will be a biaaatch to clean on a regular biasis. I guess once you get quick at removing all the screws, it will be ok. lol
