You need to have your barrel threaded to accept. It is a good way of cutting down recoil on all cartridges, but it particularly dramatic on big cartridges.
Check with Alberta Tactical...

Looks mostly, and its a lite not a sporter, just thought about this after seeing this:

The rifle pictured looks to be a tikka tactical with a heavy contour barrel. It's got an adjustable cheekpiece and a wider forend on the stock. Your rifle looks entirely different. It doesn't have the cheekpiece or as wide of a forend and also has a thinner barrel. Essentially it would, in my opinion, look absolutely ridiculous.
