Tikka T3 Lite muzzle brake

You need to have your barrel threaded to accept. It is a good way of cutting down recoil on all cartridges, but it particularly dramatic on big cartridges.

Check with Alberta Tactical...

Dammit...Don't really want to get it threaded, what about this:

looks sick and sounds like it works

That looks sick is right. As in disgusting and would look even worse on a sporter tikka t3. What is your rifle chambered in that it requires a break? Is it for functionality or looks?

Looks mostly, and its a lite not a sporter, just thought about this after seeing this:

I think so lol (its in the mail, and its my first rifle so be gentle)

The rifle pictured looks to be a tikka tactical with a heavy contour barrel. It's got an adjustable cheekpiece and a wider forend on the stock. Your rifle looks entirely different. It doesn't have the cheekpiece or as wide of a forend and also has a thinner barrel. Essentially it would, in my opinion, look absolutely ridiculous.

Remember the Mossberg .22? You don't need a 50 cal brake on a sporter weight barrel.

Yeah I see that...Can mine have a cheekpiece put on?

I noticed that some of the stores have a package with the Tikka T3 Tactical that includes a muzzle brake, this one more specifically:

I just became an owner of one of these rifles and am looking to get that muzzle brake for it. I talked to a few stores here in Calgary which have the packaged T3 tactical but do not sell the muzzle brake's separately. I did not want to make another thread, so I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy that specific one?

cheers.

the t3 tatical or trg break wont fit on a lite contour barrel. you'r only real option is a boss system or something similar.
