December purchases

Is it just me, or are a lot of rare rifles being snapped up so far this month?

I guess some people must be selling in anticipation of a big Christmas bill. Either way, I'm extremely jealous of some of you. Full wood Krag's, M27's, Lee Metfords, Mauser mags... damn guys.

Good show!

I am sneaking this one in under milsurp, as shoots milsurp, looks like milsurp, disguised with a few Enfield Mk5's, Skennerton has them in the Enfield Story, an AIA-M10A1 wanted this one as as more close to an original Mk5 in design, AK mag quite does not cut it. Keeps up the Enfiled collection with new variants. Interesting English proof marks, still mark them as Nitro Proof. Really nice rifle.

The rifle isnt unissued, its a refurb rifle. Most Soviet weapons were refurbed post war, typically being restored to as new condition. The bore may look unissued, but Im sure its had more then one round through it, especially being made in 1941.

It sure is one really, really nice 91/30 :D. The laminated stock is a nice bonus aswell! I bet it will shoot great :D Congrats!

shops in Ottawa

I have several unwanted hunting firearms of limited value that I want to sell to an Ottawa shop rather than advertise in the paper or online.
All are registered.

I did a search for 'Ottawa gun shops' and the only useful thread that came up is the new SAIL store.

There sure isn't a heck of a lot in the Yellow Pages. I see that Laurentian Trading Post is now long-gone - too bad.

Can you guys tell me which Ottawa gun shops or pawn shops you like dealing with?

You are asking in a wrong place.
Ask this question in a "General Firearms Discussion"
You can always advertise them in equipment exchange, just please, add nice pictures.
Watch how guys are making posts and do the same or better.
I'm sure you will do better than selling them to a gun shop ,but what do i know.
