John I mean no disrespect, I am new to this thread, are there additional details available on this gun?

I gather that it will be a shorty, ie 18.5" barrel, is this correct?

Might it come with short 5 round mags 5/5, or long 20 rounders pinned to 5 5/20?

Even a VERY rough eta? This year? Next spring?

consider this....all one needs is a true to spec m1a type receiver and us m14 gi rifles to strip parts from and assemble. mil spec.....

Thank you so much for getting back to us, and for going through the hell we put you through.

I am super excited to hear that the project is still ongoing, and cannot wait to hear more. Also very glad that I do not have to buy a yankee M1a at their costs.

Still looking forwar wit hgreat interest to see how these turn out - the Italian makers are capable of making some really nice stuff.
 
Hey, we'll wait. Been without a shootable M-14 since the gumment quit giving authorizations to shoot my real one, so a few more months, or a year or two don't mean much.
 
John.. if they make m14's... its only a hop skip and jump to do a .308 chambered M1 Garand! :)

While you are at it.. an 18.5 inch bbl M1 Carbine as well (but in .308 also, or even BETTER .45 ACP!

I tremble at the thought of those 3 ladies in my safe, gently touching each other. :) I don't care who makes them ... Europe or China.. but Italian would be nice. A sweet package price for all three would be great too like 3 for 1500 bucks. I am in.

Sorry for the daydreaming out loud :) I just love the look and feel of wood n iron from days of old, and this would be very close.

Yeah, I'd be in for that....and John, maybe you could find some original condtion Springfield 1903's and throw one of those into the package for free, just for us really keen guys.:D

I am genuine :) I am huggin my old 1980's Caspian/Colt Series 70 like it was my long lost brother right now.

Perhaps 1500 was a really low... how about 2k and 3 fingers from my off hand? lol for chinese rifles of course
