weird thought

Bears get left in the bush for the buzzards too..your point is?
People don't eat meat eaters, it's against religion and is disgusting..they stink...so why would you eat something that is rotten smellling inside?

Just wonder how many of us eat a lobster. :D:DThey are the coyote of the sea are they not if you think about it??
Funny how we think, never would I eat a coyote but bring those sea bottom cleaners on. Man would a dozen of those go well today;)

I eat bear meat. Its great. Other parts of the world eat dogs monkeys even humans. Fish eat meat yet we eat them. Alligators. This is not a topic about religion.

This is the exact reason i don't eat lobster, crabs, rarely shrimp...Underwater garbage disposals. Catfish too. I've seen some real monsters that would be a great meal for 6 people, but they eat all the s%*T off the bottom of the river, and in some places, it is actually S$5T that makes them get so big.

Too funny. From PEI and won't eat a lobster. ;) More for me then. It is the poop that makes them taste so good. :DBelieve me my friend I worked in a meat processing facility for two years and had to get out for reasons I will not get into. If we could see what the meat in our grocery stores is going through to hit the table a lobster is a good thing. Take care and send those lobster this way .:)
Will you eat those big dirty honker birds that take over your island every year and cost me about $250.00 each to take home from Lot16 ???

Lots of people eat bear, they're omnivores. Cougar actually tastes pretty good as well and they are strictly carnivores.

That said, I don't think coyote would be high on my list, but if I was hungry enough it would probably taste pretty good.

If you saw what pigs and chickens eat, you'd probably change your attitude on coyote. ;)

Those people shouldn't have hunting rights.

True enough....Pigs, and chickens are both omnivores.

judging by your posts in this thread alone, you're likely an uneducated 14 year old and new to the hunting world.

I would eat my own leg off first..I am serious.

i'll bet

Coyotes are carnivores, not for me..but if it turns your crank go ahead.

hmmm...last i checked, they're omnivores.

Oh..really...my tag ..my decision...I can choose.

well, i guess that shows your true colors. likely one of the tools that give us ETHICAL hunters a bad name.

They don't have to be used...I guess by calling people wasteful..are you including trappers? easy now

anyone that wastes very edible meat such as black bear (i've never tried grizzly so cant comment on that) is an idiot and should have their rights revoked. :slap:

high five, you're a real winner

Man, you are one bundle of prejudice and dogma. Re-read your posts and have a look at how all your objections are just cultural biases.

Coyotes smell? Ever shoot a rutting antelope? Ever stand over a rutting elk that has been urinating on his own mane and wallowing in a urine soaked mudhole? Ever smell a feedlot, or, better yet, a pig barn? Coyotes are omnivorous. Ever see some coyote sh*t that was full of berries. You are not thinking this through very deeply at all.

My approach is that if someone, somewhere, says it's good to eat, it probably is. Everything I have ever tried, no matter from what culture's menu, was always pretty good. (Well, not lutefisk, but that is an exception and had nothing to do with the meat, just the preservation method).

Really, Noneck, you need to open your mind a bit to some possibilities. You may find some very pleasant surprises result from dropping your prejudices.

If somebody else prepared it and we didn't know what it was alot of us would eat it. Taking one from the field to the plate would be a pretty daunting task-a coyote will trot a five mile circle to eat scabs off another coyotes ass.

Trappers use the hides.

Your shooting a bear, and leaving the whole thing to be scavenged is totally different, and wrong. If you don't eat bear, don't shoot it, unless you have someone ready to use it. Thats common sence.

If you feel the need to shoot it, only to let it waste to make you feel like a big man go for it.

Oh..really...my tag ..my decision...I can choose.

Question
Do you affix that tag of yours to the bear you leave to waste in the bush????

I use the hides..I can afford to buy my food..that doesn't stink.
You guys are all so tough behind your computers..I would eat you.
