C7, ar15...

Just to clarify, I incorrectly beleived ar15's, M16's, AK 47's and any other assault rifle under the sun were prohibited since LONG before joining the CF. Civilian gun laws were never relevent to our training, I made the assumption based on the fact I never saw one for sale in a store, but handguns were available.

I think thats what Gunnerlove's point was !

there alot of people who think they are "experts" without a a pal and know very little in any profession .
there is no limit to the annoying myths and rumors that I have caught being perpetuated and continue to be so

....it makes my head hurt!
BTW i am not an expert but i know what i know and i know when people don't know what they are talking about

Yeah, I can live with that then, think I may taken it wrong. Greentips makes a good point!

You just shoped in the wrong stores.;)

Much like the 174 gn 311 bullets used during WWII I understand. Didn't they have a different material in the tip that caused the bullet to tumble on hitting a human target?

Any number of materials were used including Wood, Aluminum, Plastic and paper or or nothing leaving an air space. It depends on who made them and when.

I thought this was an informative article.
