C7, ar15...

Just to clarify, I incorrectly beleived ar15's, M16's, AK 47's and any other assault rifle under the sun were prohibited since LONG before joining the CF. Civilian gun laws were never relevent to our training, I made the assumption based on the fact I never saw one for sale in a store, but handguns were available.

Any number of materials were used including Wood, Aluminum, Plastic and paper or or nothing leaving an air space. It depends on who made them and when.
