I think alex's statement is doing exactly what he planned it to do, stop sniveling bedwetters from buying his product, calling up and crying about the heavy recoil the .223 produces, that it hurts thier ears and it's too heavy. I say good, don't buy one cuz the owner is a big meanie face, the less I have in common with insecure whiners the better. Let the men who aren't offended by brash comments have these lovely rifles. Mine and camp cooks have probably fired on more creatures, beer cans, clay pidgeons, and what ever else than all the restricted AR's in Canada. Paper..... Oh yay!!! Ha, I'd rather finger my hole than wait for the RO to say it's ok to fire on my paper target now. Lol.

I might have to go pop a couple coyotes with my XCR now....just to make myself feel better. :)

Of course the rest of you AR gods can spend your time standing infront of the mirror all "kitted up"......sounds awesome too, along with watching "Black Hawk Down" over and over.

........good times

Hey come on' now, I watch the Kingdom when I'm all kitted out... :p

Um the XCR isn't the only non-restricted black rifle out there... SA, Tavor, 180B, etc..

At least when we run around inside with our AR's, we don't have to have someone following behind us picking up all the parts that have fallen off ;)

That's a good movie too. I'll admit, I've had to tighten down my XCR as well....but only once, and nothing has ever come loose again in about 7-800 rds. It's really not a big deal. Is it my favorite rifle?...no, but I enjoy it and it goes bang every time.

It's also my own personal "#### you" to Wendy and hers.....so for me, it's worth the coin. :)

+1!

I pulled the charging handle (or whatever the nomenclature is these days) right out the back of one of the Queen's C7s around 1992. Piece of crap. "Some battle rifle".

Conversely, this is one of the fond memories that reminds me why I would never trust an AR if SHTF(!).

:)

3000 troops in combat right now would say different. 60000 US and Dutch would also disagree...

But those are only available in that little pussy round whats it call 223/5.56... :D

Here is what a guy can legally do with an XCR-L and I have uppers in both 223 & 6.8 SPC and if they ever come out with a 458 SOCOM I'll have an upper in that cartridge as well.

6.8 SPC

Took this pic on the top of a mtn yep those are alpine flowers...

This has got to be the most moronic statement I've ever seen on CGN. One of the most battle proven platform's on the planet (Modern Weaponry) and you wouldn't trust your life with it...???

Nelly you've gone full retard, don't do that. Never go full retard...

I would have to say the AK is the most battle proven.

lol.. interesting 20 pages :)

Personally, I would not go crazy over a small loose bolt. However, I would think twice about company who publicly advertises such an immature customer service policy.

Mr. R should probably just tell the guilty parties off directly if he feels offended by their tone, or direct his staff to do so, rather than publicly display such feelings. I think such a post would drive more prospective clients away, rather than draw them in.

That being said, perhaps this is what it comes to after hundreds of angry rednecks have abused your staff and yourself. It is hard to choose a side not knowing the whole story.

Plus, AR style rifles are cool, and so is a company willing to ship a non- restricted special model in multiple calibers to a country with a small market, and a ton of bureaucratic red tape. I try not to be too hasty in damning the rifle or manufacturer. His post though, does little to inspire confidence in them.

I would like to give that little girl the pepsi challenge versus similar guns though, as it does look pretty well designed. Having a more potent round than the .223 is really nice for us hunters, and kind of justifies your $2500 a little more with its versatility.

I guess there is always good points and bad about everything.. ce la vie. :)

Well first of all CANADIAN COMBAT SOLDIERS even if they had anything negitive to say about the c7 /c8 or any other equipment thay use well you would not even hear about it. Combat soldiers do not decide what CANADA is going to purchase POLITICS and FINANCE determine what's bought .

If CANADIAN soldiers would have had a choice what rifle CANADA adopted it sure as hell would not have been the AR that I know.
