I happened on an American site last year and saw for the first time a restored Winchester Model 1892 Trapper Carbine in the rarest of the rare, 14inch barrel . Is there a more beautiful looking Winchester lever action ever produced then this. I think not. I owned the Wrangler in .32 special and always loved the 94 16" trapper but the 92 omg what a beauty.
Does anyone of the Winchester collectors on CGN have one of these rare beauties and would like to post pics.
My friend had, i guess you call it the Winchester Bible. A thick well written data book on all Winchesters and i believe in the 14" barrel very few were made. (16" being more popular). And the restored one was asking 6500US. If i had that kind of money to put into an individual firearm i would own one
