New Gevarm E1's.....

being sold by a few CGN dealers. They are advertised as new (old stock) and come with a 20 round mag. I figured it would be kinda neat to try one of these open bolt puppy's out. Anyone else jump on this?

Western Gun Parts has repop 8 rd mags if that helps someone decide...mags have been scarce for decades.
 
They look a little different then a typical e-1 with the silver crinkle finish, hooded front sight and threaded muzzle.
 
I almost bought one cause they are a neat gun.If i didnt buy 7 guns in the last month i probably would have.:(:)
 
The beauty of the Gevarm is that it is one of the few things that we can have imported that the States can't. We can't boast in much over the States when in comes to firearms but the Gevarm and short barrelled shoties are two notable exceptions. w:h:

ps - the US import ban on the Gevarms is only based on US based forums...I don't have actual proof and would be glad to stand corrected.......

Triple K mags in the U.S. will do mail order to Canada. Pricing's a bit better.

Also, they have 15 rd!

According to the customer rep they will fit E1s without modifications....

Western gunparts are like the gestopo.....I ordered a mag yesterday. They were very vague and seemed to take offense when I asked how much fitting it will require. So I order it, then I get a call from them today saying that since I returned something to them about 5 years ago, they don't really want to send me this mag as I might end up wanting to return it. Anyway, I convinced them to take my money. If I had known I could have gotten one elsewhere I would have told them to shove it ! Who ever that chick is, she has a pretty poor attitude.
My wife got their initial call as I wasn't home. Right off the bat she mentioned that the lady seemed upset about something. I think my wife thought I was in trouble :)

They are kind of crusty and seem to be in a hurry to do something else other then deal with customers on the phone....:confused:
