Question from a Newbie

Troll aside, I have lived in Vancouver all my life and would be hard pressed to remember racism growing up-but even back then Vancouver was a multi cultural city. My friends make up ppl from India, Germany, Asia, africa etc. Made for some great food in the hood! I have a black friend who moved up here 10 years ago from Florida-one of the things he noticed right away was he felt far more welcome. Never has he been called the "n" word in Canada, in fact one of the things he does find a little embarrassing is that Canadians have a tendency to be a little too polite. Never a problem at the Poco gun club. The only ppl that get discriminated against are idiots with guns!

Well, Frank, perhaps I am misreading your meaning here, but when you say "To the OP, GO F@@K YOURSELF, you race hussler" the hackles on the back of my neck arise.

My wife and I spent almost 4 weeks in Feb-Mar touring down the bible belt, through the deep south, into Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Missouri, and back north. I was very impressed with the young whites, blue collar workers, who said to me, and we were in the sauce when the truth comes out, "huh?, we don't look at the color of a face anymore, it's is what he is, does and says..."

And this past fall, we spent 10 days in northern Virginia, same thing.

So, to the OP, original poster, I say welcome.

And we live close.. I am in lovely Sutton area, with deer and coyotes in the backyard. So happy to move north of the big stink, here to the little stink

actually handle name is from one of my fave books.. just a co-ink-a- dink.

I can hunt turkey 15 minutes from my house.. deer as well. It is awesome. One day it will be right on my own property I hope :)

Do you shoot at a club too, are are you just a "fudd"? :) And I mean that as a compliment, as I am not very tacticool myself.

I tried to get in Sharon.. what a snobby club that is. Not even an email back after 4 tries. Now I am in Barrie. They are so much more friendly.
