Langemark Plinking - Practice Dates
Aug 20
Sept 24
Oct 29

Now, about these Langemark Plinking days; I've been getting few PM's about what happens. Let's make it perfectly clear that you show up, test your loads, sight your rifle in, and the RSO is just the Range Safety Officer. There AIN'T no practice. You are on YOUR own to shoot safely at your own target. So just to re-iterate, nobody will be showing you skills and drills! :D

Hope that clears things up!

do you mean match 1 to 16

Right now... from exactly what I know (read: nothing) I'm expecting to run matches 1-4. Like anything else, who knows what will change? I'm not privy to that information. YET! Notice that a lot of the Service Rifle information is TBA'ed.

AS more information is unfolding we will update things on this thread. You can expect that we will keep our matches as current as we can because our mandate in the ORA is to support the LFCA folks.

Cheers,
Barney

Do you know if Tim is going to make more speeches about being happy in our work?

Hungry here: Only if you will arrange a film crew so that he can find a second career shooting for the sequel of PacificII, Maybe Steven Spielberg will discover the hidden talent.

iam interested in showing up on march 19 for the practice. Wouldn't mind bringing a friend out to shoot aswell. Sounds like it would be fun :) Anybody using 858? what after market scopes/sights you using? Do you really even need one? thanks

Sure helps if you join the ORA! Otherwise you have to pay the activity fee for the day. Yes, 858's do come out to play. Bring many magazines! Many iron sight shooters also!
For the first few times you might want to pay the guest fee; see if you like us and how good looking many of the Service Shooters are. :D We won't yell at you; we SCREAM  at you! Nope, I'm just joking.

And no, you don't have to be in the military. Your choice, pay the guest fees or join the ORA, then you can come out and shoot with us; practices are free, matches involve merely the match fee. That's it! :ar15:

Seriously, see if it's for you on 19 March Langemark Range.

Cheers,
Barney

Hmmm. I'm spending the summer in Borden (late June-late August). Considering participating in the matches while I am there.

Anyone has suggestions for storing out of provinces firearms? I will be on base and I know they won't let me keep them.
