Mags from the states.

Contact CProducts and place your order directly from them. They have Canada compliant mags in stock and will ship to your door. A buddy and myself just got a bunch in .223 and 6.8. I payed $150 for 9 5/30 mags with anti-tilt followers delivered.
I haven't found a better deal yet.
You still have to stay under the $100 limit set by the US State. Dept. or you are breaking US law. They probably won't go after you, but they will go after the people that sent them. Midway was fined a million dollars for sending scope parts to Europe.

I have sent an Email to C products regarding 5/30 7,62X39 mags (that my manhood requires) a while ago, still no answer.

Many others asked before (less then 2 months ago) and they said no, they don't make them. It's the only caliber they don't pin so there might be some spring obstruction with the mag angle. They already had a very hard time making a reliable 30 rnd AR mag in 7,62x39, Cproducts seems like the only winner for this.

Engineering challenge is the tapered rounds in the straight magwell...

My manhood is disappointed.

I bought a pile of 6.5 grendel 5/20 mags from c-products. They work flawlessly with x39 in my XCR. I think 6 mags cost me just under $100 and c prod sent them to my door.

I wonder if Cproducts make a pinned-to-5-rounds mag in fatter calibers that could possibly 'accomodate' 5.56 rounds as well...;)

Those that ordered 5/30 mags direct from C Products, can you tell us how the mags are limited? I was under the impression that they lanced the body.

Good to know they ship direct, certainly makes them a lot cheaper. If only Magpul would follow suit.

ETA: Anyone know if the 9mm followers work in Colt (Metalform) mags?

Order them to a buddy in the US, have him pin them and have him ship them. If customs stops them, fine. You aren't receiving anything illegal. IMHO it's worth the risk. Sure hope I don't get a red star for this one.

I have tried to do that with a gunsmith but no answer from him, guess he's not interested. I might try a bunch until I find one. I ve ordered some 5/25 6,5 and 6,8 to see how they work with X39.

You're violating US export laws if no permits are acquired. Both the shipper and the receiver can be nailed.

Three stickies for you:

Way to promote the breaking of US export laws... and break the primary rules of this forum.

Just made my second order to CProducts yesterday. 10 1911 mags and 10 more 5/30 AR mags. Around $15 per mag plus $30 shipping and whatever tax and duty I get charged when they cross the border. I'll post again if there are any troubles this time. First order went through without a hitch.

well you are correct and your not breaking canadian laws...kinda Canada DID sign ITAR.......

you name will also end up on the us customs database you WILL get a nasty notice of siezer from US customs (3x if you dont bother replying)

you may have hassles crossing into the usa or even flying thru thier airspace (can we say cutoff from most warm vacation spots) you may be banned from the usa

and if they really decided they wanted you as Canada DID sign ITAR. the US could insist on charges for itar violations

doing as you suggested would break some pretty serious us laws the us will not play nice dont kick the hornets nest!

No duty for products made in USA. You may get a $5 brokerage fee from Canada Post (if shipped USPS) and since you're in Alberta, GST.

Lots of US companies that ship to Canada these days will automatically charge you the Cdn taxes so you end up paying nothing when it arrives at your door. I've done this recently with LLBean and Magnaflow. These companies ship Purolator and even UPS but must have come to some sort of arrangement because no brokerage fees were involved.

I've never paid any extra when the mags arrive at my door or even if I missed the delivery and they take it to the post office...
