Will be available Feb 1, 2013 :)D, or whenever). Pic of packaging at the end. Comments about feel and quality, basically you get what you pay for.

For the mag pictures, the 25 round mag on the right hand side slaps into the large mag shell on the left hand side.

When you say "you get what you pay for", are you implying it feels flimsy and cheap or not? The previous Archangel kits have a decent reputation for being durable, is this one a step back?

Excellent news on the mag setup, now we just have to hope that they function properly.

I really wish they had gone for the K model forearm instead of the C model, but beggars can't be choosers.

It would be NR too!

Or prohibited as a variant of something evil.

Any idea if it will work with a heavy barrel?

Only way I would be interested! That pencil barrel makes the whole kit look really GHEY!

EDIT: On the pack it says standard barrels, but I wonder what it would take to fit. Thats ####ed.

Damn it, I have to jump on the 10/22 bandwagon now. I never saw myself buying one, but nowwwwwwww that's changed, I may just have to get a Mini-14 as well.

Why doesn't Promag make and sell magazines like that for all Ruger 10/22s. Way better looking then the banana magazines!

I am going to stay away from the Mini, but I will put my biases aside for once (just this once) and buy a 10-22.

They should make those for ALL 22s.

the thing I dont like about these kits is the fact that the kit/rails dont seem to be screwd on to the actual gun ,how would that be for holding zero with optics? maby the shell/Kit is screwed to the gun ? just dosent look like a solid mount . Never held or seen how they go together , can anyone provide any info how they go together ?

The rail on the archangel is screwed with the 4 screw holes on the top of the receiver. There is also the main screw just forward of the mag space. The rail on the top is also screwed into the shoulder stock and the barrel shroud.

It is very solid. Proven to me by running with the rifle on a sling for a few days now, and keeping a very solid POI while testing this system.
