Rings+Bases, what are you guys using?

Well what are you guys using on your bolt-actions. Looking to try something different this time around. I have the scope, but would like to hear what rings and bases are to like or hate. In the past I've used weaver style base with millet anglelock or burris Z-rings. Neither have given me any grief.

Rings/bases

I stick with good old Leupold. Dual-Dovetail for non-sighted barrels and standard if iron sights. I like 2-piece bases. Lots of good options out there these days.

Weaver bases and Weaver Grand Slam steel rings. Work well except for the Torx screws. They slip. Almost as dumb an invention as the Phillips. Give me a socket head cap screw any day.

I have Leupold on all my rifles.

Used to be a fan of the Leopold system but now have moved to the Weaver type base (including Picatiny rails) and Burris Zee rings.

Weaver base allow you to mount any style of optics and the nylon inserts in the Burris Zee rings prevent scope scratching. Plus you can get offset inserts for long rang shooters

Leupold style on mine but there are lots of good rings out there. I won't use aluminum though, steel are superior.
