What do YOU want in a magazine???

I have nothing to do on a Friday night and I thought about all those guys and gals that want a hi-cap mag for their .22s that doesn't look like a part of the male anatomy bending up towards the mouth of said male. So what do you want in a mag? I have the software to design it to an extent and I bet there are Canadian manufacturers who could push it out.
 
Easy, I want a 25+ round 10/22 mag that looks/feels like a PMAG.. same angle, material, grip etc.. but doesn't hang down so far it's ridiculous.
 
10rd or 20rd magazine that would fit a Savage 93 in 22WMR and 17HMR (HM2 ??) that is straight and made of some sort of metal.

10/22 UMP style high cap. mags.

Just a thought.

I could see a few hurdles in that, such as an outer shell and needing specific measurements.

The hurdle for the UMP mags is that the .22LR has a rim, which could make feeding from a straight mag unreliable. Correct me if I'm wrong.
 
One that is completely reliable. Feeds any and all ammo without jamming. Form must follow function, grasshopper....

Yes, but I can dream ... :D

But something for a the Savage 93 would be sweet ... 10rds with a slight curve would be fine. All the owners of said model would be more than happy to scoop them up.
 
AR15 style mag that can hold 20 to 30 rounds
I really dont understand why nobody has made one yet, its not hard ... those damn banana clips are so ugly

What do you guys think? I don't want to keep going with this one unless you guys approve first. If not, I can scrap it no problem.
 
I was already working on a version for my nordic 10/22 and maybe going in production with another thing special for the nordic/sr 22 kit.

Hold that thought gents. There is a new product that should be released in the next couple of months. I have only seen pics but no info, details, pricing or ETA.

however, it will be an AR looking mag with a 10/22 banana inside. Obviously, it would have to be much wider then a conventional AR mag.

I will post info whenever it gets to me.

For now, cut and paste the AR mag to a factory 10 rd mag. That will solve the craving for a non banana mag.

i don't see why it would have to be wider than conventional AR mag.. The S&W 25 round mag certainly isn't any wider. If it's just a butler creek inside a big case, not interested..

I wish.. lol, now that I've gotten used to the 25rnd mags, I couldn't imagine having to change mags every ten shots!
My craving for rapid fire far outweighs my craving for a non-banana mag :ar15:
