Look on the rimfire EE there's atleast 2 for sale there as of 20 mins ago.

Just wondering if any cgn sponsoring dealers have committed to bringing in the G36 stock and when can we expect them to be available here in canada?

We have some on order, and are told they will ship after the 15th of February.

The magazine on it is a proprietary 10 round magazine like the 10/22 one, and the bottom part is a prop. Apparently some aftermarket 25 round mags can fit in the prop. So in effect it's a plastic prop (empty shell) to complete the look. It's the same idea as the Thompson kit. (prop)

Price of each kit is going to be $219.99 and we will be building Ruger Pro Mag G36 10/22's for $499.99. (brand new)

I have included some pics of a completed unit from the 2011 Shot Show.

The HK G36 is deemed prohibited in Canada, the non-restricted version would be the HKSL8.

Thats somethign I would wanna find out, if our laws would allow us to turn a 10/22 into something that looks prohibted..

Classification has to do with the rifle, not what you turn it into. You can turn a 10/22 into an AR, AK47, AK74, and Thompson. It's still a 10/22 no matter what you make it look like.

Same will go for this kit. It is still classified and registered as a 10/22.

The only exception to this is bullpup as any bullpup in Canada that functions WITHOUT the stock is prohibited. (as would the SKS or 10/22 bullpup kits out there)

Krinker Plinker. Makes your 10/22 look like an AK74 which I'm 99% sure is a prohib here.

The kits are 100% legal here, but the manufacturer no longer has a valid export license to ship them with the barrels. Further, the stocks have to be welded "open" on the shorter version to keep the 10/22 non-restricted.

I have asked him to renew it and he says "no problem" provided I pay for it. I'd have to sell the first ten into the country for $250.00 more than he does.

Do they have plans for the 597 platform? If so I'm in!

Haven't heard of a 597 one, and I have asked to get 597 ones for the Archangel, but I have been reluctant to order them because I have to order a lot of them and I haven't gotten enough requests for them yet.

I'd get one from you, but I ordered it from Mystic couple weeks back, as for the package 10/22 with the G36 kit installed that seems interesting, something I'd order. But would you include the original stock for the 10/22 as well?

This is what I was trying to say. Let me try again:

The Krinker plinker kit makes a 10/22 look like an AK74. The kit is perfectly legal in Canada but the AK74 is not. Thus you can make your 10/22 look like any kind of gun you want, short of a bull pup but thats a whole nother kettle of fish.

We wouldn't be including any of the original parts as we would sell these as a finished kit. (like for example the Thompson 10/22, Rhineland Arms R22, Krinker Plinker, etc.)

Couple of questions if I may.. maybe Killercane or someone else can answer.

Im assuming the kit only comes with one magazine shell? Are there more available and price?
Does this kit fit a .920 bull barrel?

Been thinking about that as well, and the drop in mag, is that a specific make? Or can you toss in say a Butler Creek 25 rounder and you're good to go?

Promag brand only, and you only get one mag and shell in the package. As for being able to buy more, not sure, but I would assume Promag will definitely sell individual mag and shells as accessories.

Also the mags only have polymer lips (no steel lips planned for now).
