Ignorant replies

The World is far from perfect or being safe. Why would you expect anything different in a cyber world. But make sure you keep your sense of humor around here.
Hi to all. I'm just getting started in shooting and have only been a member of CGN for a week. I've been going through the forums and gleaned a great deal of info already. This is a great place to learn. What I have also seen is a lot of people like me asking questions, seeking wisdom from those who have more experience than they do and what they receive are wiseass, rude, and ignorant replies from loud mouth wannabes. If someone is asking a question and you have some productive input by all means pipe up. But if you have nothing better to do that put the guy down and try to make him feel stupid so you can puff up your chest - keep it to yourself. Anyone with any level of intelligence is going to recognize you for the little momma's boy you are and ignore you and any input you have to offer.

I think if you can't be bothered to do a search to find an answer to question that has been asked a thousand times, you deserve to be given wiseass replies. This site brings out the best and worst in gun owners. Learn to live with it.

Except the search function on this site ####ing sucks donkey balls.

Of course this OP may be talking about the well deserved responses given to one-post trolls.

Just a reminder that

Loose means not tight
and
Lose is to misplace or have something taken away

Spelling and grammar are a big thing on this site :D

This is a lesson I need to learn when it comes to trolls on here, and I have the infractions to prove it. I have learned to just wait and eventually they either go away or get banned, but they sure are aggravating in the meantime.

I am in no way making a reflection on the original poster, just observing my own weaknesses.

Would you like to teach my f*****g idiot boss this lesson in proper grammar along with many other slaughters of the English language he commits? I know folks who learned English as their second language who do better than this clown, and his mother tongue is supposed to be English and he is also supposed to have an MBA. Cripes I would have loved to see his thesis!

The part that p*sses me is that he has the audacity to tell me and others to pay attention to details in our emails and other written documents, and I am an accountant that always did A+ in English class compared to scraping by in math classes.

Enough griping....I know, I know.V:I:

But if you are new, and the search doesn't work, why not ask the question to get help from those who know the answer? Who cares if the question has been asked before....it will eventually go the end of the "New Posts" and disappear.

A rude insulting post complaining about rude insulting posts! Great first post! :p

f**k that was funny chemo!

But seriously we need to get a sticky around here of things you do not ask and do if your are a newb. I have no problems helping newbs. But when you ask dumb azz questions and make dumb azz statements your status changes from newb to noob. I hate noobs and they deserve to be torn to shreds. So here are some quick tips and things not to say or do to help all the newcomers to CGN.

First the tips.

1. Learn to use the search fuction. It will save you some grief.

2. Spelling and grammar count for alot around here. Your spelling and grammar dont have to be perfect but please make a attempt.

3. Do not refer to a firearm as a weapon. It is a tool. Nothing more. Nothing less.

4. You earn respect around here. It is not given.

5. Dont start posting your opinions in firearm political and news forum until you've been here a while. You will be eaten alive by the sharks.

6. Post your questions in the right forum. I dont want to read about your SKS that has a firing pin problem in the black rifle forum.

Here are some questions and statements that should be avoided at all costs by newbs. Unless ofcourse they want to change their status from newb to noob.

1. Im looking for a non restricted black rifle.

2. What gun is good for bear defence?

3. Where can i get a ar15 assault rifle?

4. I shot a AK 47 last week and now i want to buy one. Where can i get it?

5. Why would you buy your wife a 9mm? Get her a 45acp. 9mm cant kill people as well as a 45acp.

6. I can circumsize the ##### off a fly at a 800 meters with my m-14. Im that good of a shot.

7. I like playing Call of Duty, Halo and Battlefied Vietnam

8. Where can i buy this bullpup stock for my SKS?

9. Im a liberal.

10. Can i use a Lar15 magazine in my AR15?

11. Im looking for a assault lever action rifle.

These are just a small sample of questions and idiotic statements that should be avoided at all costs.

We need to start a "sticky" that reads like "you may be a redneck" except it is "you might be a noobie".

For the list...

12. How much ammo can I keep at home legally?

13. Does my ammo need to be locked in a different safe, in another room from my weapons.

14. Is it legal to carry concealed restricteds on my private property.
