I am partial to a nice full stock, European hunting rifle. If I was to buy one for hunting, and not for showing off, then I would either get a Sako, or a CZ rifle because they work, and I would'nt start to cry if I scratched it, unlike a $3500 rifle that I would be so worried about it the whole time I was out, and it would effect my hunting style. I guess if I was Moose hunting, then I would be able to get away with a beautiful gun because I am hunting in a more wide open NorthWestern Ontario area that the rifle is not subject to any bushwacking. If I am Deer hunting, then I am best suited with a Synthetic/Stainless hunting rifle because my stuff never comes back the same after another Deer hunting trip in the thick forests of Central Ontario and the Loring Deer yard. We take turn pushing the bush and sometimes it requires a great deal of bushwacking, so a beautiful rifle is'nt a good thing to bring.
