A better question is "how are the other ones restricted? God dammit" ;)

Blame the marketing departments releasing the pamphlets. They should understand the Canadian markets. Thats what the courts seem to use in the challenges and appeals. Even with paintball... Exact copy of m16 for training etc.

BTW I have heard different things about the mp22 is it coming with pinned or 10 rounders?

Ok, here's my work in progress. Was too cheap to get an SR-22 but wanted something tacti-cool none the less. Here's what we have;1) Stock 10/22 carbine
2) SR-22 barrel
3) AK-47 underfolder
4) M-16 pistol grip
5) Fabbed angeled fore grip
6) Fabbed flash hider(not shown)

Yes there is tape on the muzzle as well as the top rail.
Cheers!!

Once its all finished as far as the build goes, I'm thinkin I might go with a Russian red stain on the wood bits. If it does'nt do it for me, then maybe truck bed liner........

I don't own those, its pictures I took on the web. IMO, its the sickest looking SR-22. I plan on getting one someday and I want to customize it similar to those.

OH ####-AKE MUSHROOMS! What scope is that? I want one to switch out my red dot on the 795.

Here are some new pics of my Fabsport 10/22 with some new parts I added on, Houge Grip, light and laser and scope caps. Sorry for the crappy pics but I lost my camera and these are from my phone, I will update them asap.

The second gun is my friends newly done up VTR597.

Ok...I know it's just a glue on fake, but what kind of magazine is that? Airsoft or something? As someone else stated...it makes all the difference with the SR22. Probably the one grip I have with this gun is that the skinny little 10/22 mags make it look like a toy.

Mine BTW....nothing special just yet.

Have you tried the Bushnell yet ?

Im looking to buy that one and from what i saw from reviews on internet is a good red dot scope acog like.

I'll let you know SoLDneR as soon as I pick up some more ammo and can do a proper sight in. After mounting it, and just test firing it, the scope looks like its already pretty close to being bang on....

I currently have a Ruger SR-22, and love it, but am thinking of expanding my tactical 22 collection. I want to stick with non-restricted for the ease of shooting any where and anytime.
I looking at the Mossberg Tactical 22 and the Remington 597 VTR.
I need some advice, which one or both.....
And what are the best mags for my Ruger SR-22, I have a few Butchercreek already that seem to work well.
Thanks for the help

Neither, get a 10/22 with a G36 stock...
