What are some semi auto pistols that deserve more attention, but dont get it?

I'd vote for a Radom VIS 35. Plenty of variants to keep collectors interested and what I think is the most comfortable and shootable pistol going.

IMO the most over look and under rated is Ruger SR-9, you can always buy a NIB from a gun's store big sale for $400. Ruger made good gun but none of them looks cool. ofcourse the machining is not that great but for a inexpensive plinker, nothing beat a made in USA for less than five hundred tax included.

I have two Ruger P94's
In 9mm and .40 Great guns.

Agree these aluminum framed Ruger P-series pistols are great semis. Ergnomically, they may not fit all and their styling may not appeal to everyone, but they work for me and I got my P89 9mm, P91 40cal, P90 45acp at great prices off the EE. Reliable, durable and accurate, they deserve more respect, IMO.

FN/Browning 1922 .380... tiny little gun, fun to shoot :)

Although born in Canada, I grew up and lived in the States until 2006. I had a carry permit, and the gun I carried there for over twenty years was a Seecamp LWS-32. I miss it.

I think the Jericho 941, aka Baby Desert Eagle, is one gun that is often overlooked but an awesome buy. An all metal 9mm fir under $700 is an excellent starting point for for the casual shooter.

From Wikipedia:

"It was first imported into the US in 1990 by K.B.I., Inc. of Harrisburg, PA. It was later imported by O.F. Mossberg & Sons and named the Uzi Eagle and by Magnum Research, Inc. as the Baby Eagle until the end of 2008. Beginning January 1, 2009 until they ceased business on January 29, 2010, K.B.I., Inc. (which also imported Charles Daly firearms) resumed importation of the handgun as the Jericho. Magnum Research, now a division of Kahr Arms, announced a renewed importation of the Jericho."

Do any "Uzi Eagle" variations exist commonly in Canada?

Who's the best source for this in any variation these days?

They do, but are not common. I had one a few years back. It looked cool with the "UZI" laser etching on the slide and was incredibly accurate due to it's tight tolerances and a barrel with polygonal rifling. In all other respects it appeared to be a standard Jericho / Baby Eagle.

What sort of price range do these generally fetch these days, should you happen to find one?

What do the new versions go for, and whos the best CGN supporting dealer these days price wise?
