OK so i bought a Russian 53tula refurb and everything looks great except for the front sight. its leaning to the left. so if you hold the gun straight and look down from the butt stock you can clearly see its leaning quite a bit to the left. but the bayonet fits in good.. looking closely at the bayonet its all bent up and wacky.. would they have done this to allow the crapy beyonet to fit?
can you move the frontsight left and right around the barrel? or do those 2 pins only allow it to go on one way? which in my case is leaning to the left..
the funny thing is.. it looks as if the front sight pin is moved way over to compensate for the leaning.. i though being it was a refurb it just needed to be sighted in.. now noticing the leaning front sight.. i think it might be.. it looks f'in horid.. if this cant be fixed im genna be mighty upset with this gun!!
mainly i want to know if it can be moved.. and i mean the entire part along with the bayonet lug i need to move the entire thing to the right if you're looking from the stock. otherwise out comes the hammer! and a nasty letter!
any crazy ideas welcomed
