Did you look on the ee? There is a czeck refurb on there now & at least one yugo (shameless plug). Nice looking k98's BTW. You need to find an early stock for that Sauer to really set it off.

In celibration of turning 44 this month I bought myself a 44 magnum. I just purchased a Ruger Blackhawk with 4 5/8 barrel from Epp's used firearm section. I beleive the Mrs and I will take this revolver to Alaska this summer.
Not a milsurp, but a nice gun nonetheless.
I got this beauty from a fellow cgn'er! if you look there's some usually on the EE... Mine's an RC (Russian Capture) and they're usually fairly cheap 450-600 depending on the condition. An all matching usually goes for way more than that but eh I think its cooler to think that it's been droped and taken by the enemy

That tokarev pistol looks good in that pic. The pics on dealer websites don't do it justice. I didn't think I was gonna buy one but now I might. Already got two SVT's...
No reason not to get one considering the price.

No doubt. Where did you get it. Did you order it or pick it out in person. I'm curious if you picked a nice one or if they are all like that. When I bought my first SVT I was only given a choice between two dif guns. The salesman's time was too valuable to bring more than that out from the back apparently...
The next one that I bought they (Jo Brook Firearms, Brandon, MB) took me upstairs and I took my time picking through probably 15 guns. I got the pick of the lot and it's a nice one...
Suffice to say that I doubt if I'll be back to the first store ( a supporting member of this site)...

Martini-Enfield Artillery Carbine Mk. II with Second Pattern 1888 Bayonet and Sling. (the sling is named as well! "Paul B." then numbers or letters following this, that are faded beyond recognition.)
The Bayonet and Scabbard do not match, but are both marked to Ontario, Canada Reserve Battalions, circa 1900's. The bayonet and scabbard are both dated Sept. 1896, however.
The carbine itself is originally an 1883 produced Cavalry Carbine Mk. I
It was then converted into a Martini Enfield Artillery Carbine Mk. II in 1898
The carbine still has it's original stock disk, stating:

Picked up something a bit different over the weekend - a non-military No4. It's marked Alf Parker Ltd Birmingham on the receiver 'ring' serial numbered on the left side wrist along with 'England'. Bolt and receiver match, it's competition bedded and fitted with a very nice TZ 4/47 and the trigger is a thing of beauty. The overall condition is immaculate and the kicker - the bolt head is a 'zero'. Can't wait to work up some loads for it

Westrifle's delivery time was nuts! Contacted them on Monday evening about availability, heard back late Monday night it was available, EMT Tues morning, in the mail Tues afternoon, delivery on Wed. WOW! Very impressive.
Don't worry guys. These will be left bone stock. Bubba won't be allowed anywhere near these.

Just received this great Spencer Model 1860 carbine in 56-56 Spencer Rimfire from a fellow CGNer. Issued to US Army cavaly in the Civil War, the action is functional, the bore is is in good shape and the inspector's cartouches are still visible. Really neat gun, loads from a 7 round tube magazine in the butt, and doesn't really have a boly, just a rotating breech block with a separate ejector and feed ramp. Very cool rifle, looks great next to my Springfield 1861!
WOW Nyles!! Very cool! It may sound lame but the first time I ever heard of the Spencer carbine was in Red Dead Redemption 
The more I learn of the Civil War and the weapons of the era the more and more I become interested. If you do shoot it take some pictures and a video and make a thread. I bet there would be TONS of interest!
