There are certainly some of these scopes that will hold up to recoil, but its a crap shoot really. Most , if not all, of these scopes are just a "stop-gap" solution. But, why buy one when you can put that saved money towards a scope that will last, have clearer glass, smoother operation, and far more reliable functioning. Putting any scope worth 50-75 dollars on a hard recoiling rifle will net you results that are predictable. I say that if the rifle is upwards of .270win in the recoil department , its not a matter of IF the scope will fail, its more a matter of WHEN its gonna give up the ghost.
