Yeah i noticed that after i posted it stated they were "sold out" that is a good thing i guess as Mossberg probably will not discontinue the Model anytime soon....

Yeah i found a few kicking around at other dealers...i you tubed this rifle for reviews everyone that posted on there seemed pretty happy with this Rifle...and i think it will be easier on the pocket book than the M-14S! in price to purchase and to shoot...lol

has anyone tried to mount a tasco red dot on theirs yet? i just got it in the mail and it only fits a weaver rail(i think its 11mm). Going to the local gun shop on friday to see if they have an adapter or an AR weaver rail.

any advice would be appreciated

There are 2 versions: BKRD30 -weaver rail and BKRD3022 - the narrower 22 rail.

Weaver/picattiny is the same , dovetail is the smaller one

It never came with a dovetail handle rail. But you might be able to get an adapter , but not too sure as usually ppl. change from dovetail to weaver not the other way around.

ya thats the problem i am having is that the adapters are only small to big. Somebody posted a pic with the same red dot i have and he said it fit on right out of the box so i assume there is a version that comes with the dovetail

I'm not home ( 5000kms away ) or I'd take better pics for ya. Im not sure if it comes in two different versions or not....but yes my tasco red dot went right on.
