Would you hide a loan from your wife to buy a gun?

Just cut back on a few things and save 150$ a month for a few months, then after a few months, Do something really nice for her with that pot and tell her you had saved that money for a gun.

If she doesnt let you get the loan after that she dont deserve you. :)

Get the loan buy the gun and then take the money you saved and put some really nice glass on top of that bad boy :rockOn:

Honestly though just save up for it or get a credit increase and pay it off. You don't have to go all cloaks and daggers with your better half over a gun.
 
Ask the marital status of those who said hide it , married , single , divorced . Ask again in 5 years . Worked with a lot of guys who were making 15 bucks per hour when everyone else was making 30 for the same work . I laugh at the dumb fu*ks who chose alimoney and child support . It's all about trust and faith . If you talk to her and she becomes upset take a second look at your decision as there is a chance she is right . Having the money for something and being able to afford it are two different things . If you can afford it , buy it . If you can afford part of it , sell something and buy it . Considering $3,000.00 in rifles , can you afford $6,000.00 or do you only plan and spend for yourself . Has the wife requested $3,000.00 to just blow or does she consider the family and the future .

better yet.....how bout this to make it easier..........depending on when your bday is, ask her to buy if for you.....and also make it an early christmas gift to yourself with the wifes help....in this fashion it can be dealt with in a manner that shows your equality understanding within the marriage and hopefully she doesnt go ape on you for asking her to buy it for you.....

I wouldn't call her cheap, she already agreed to deal with his first 1500$ purchase, this is the second one, as for OP, don't ever hide things from your wife, trust me it will make things way more complicated, if i was hiding something like this from my wife she wouldn't leave me but she would be very disappointed.
 
Do it the other way. Put the 80 of your cheque into an account then buy it once the money is there. you can alwas add toit with other money aswell. The secret loan is what will get you in big trouble.

She won buds. no MLR. got a few up grades for the 5R 308 tho so its ok..... i guess..... Figured it was not worth going behind her back..... for now haha.

unfortunately no as well. I work with the leopard tanks and our tour got canceled and pulled from under the feet. Hope some other country goes to complete #### soon so we can get employment to blow things up again. Kind of a bad year now that I think of it.

I think you did the right thing. Sooooo much easier to add little things slowly over time to subtly change the overall gun!:evil:
