MAJOR Glock Problems

Hey guys, I have some serious problems, but today lets just talk about my Glock problem. :p

I bought a G22 a couple of years ago and couldn't shoot it as well as any of my other pistols so I traded it. I kinda regretted it, so I just bought another one recently and have been spending a lot of time behind it. The problem is, now I cant shoot any of my other pistols as good as the glock. :eek:

Switching from Safe Action to Single Action seems to produce poor results. Id really hate to become a one horse show. :( Anyone else have this problem?

I never thought I'd like the muddy Glock water, but now that Ive been drinking the Kool-aid its starting to taste pretty good. cou: my other guns are getting jealous.

......I know I know, Ive totally set up TDC to make a smartass "Glock Perfection" comment, have at er buddy :p

The thing is, these are pistols I've practiced and practiced with and became proficient with. The Glock Cancer is screwing up years of practice. Sure, when I go through a few mags it comes back to me, but when I go to the range I like to shoot them all evenly.

Of course I am being a little bit humorous, but still I find it hard to go from one to the other and back to the first. :sucks:
 
Not just you, not just you brother. I've always enjoy to shoot my CZ and other pistol which was DA/SA, after get used to the Glock, I found myself enjoy the mushy trigger over the single action...But I am not drinking cool-aid

It's not just you! I now have the "trifecta" as I have so amazingly named it. :p - Sig, Glock, and 1911. All I would shoot at IDPA until recently was Glock. I have a G21, G17 and G34. I love them.

I have now only been using my 1911 exclusively for IDPA and it took me a while to get it down. I kept flicking the safety up during a stage or just gripping it wrong. I never gave up and now I love shooting it. Don't give up.

My Sig experiment is next. I just got it and haven't shot it for IDPA yet.
 
I am surprised all you folks have not read about this well known problem before. It even has its own IM shortname. PBS&T - Problem between shooter and target.
 
I too resisted Glock for a long time, then I said I gotta at least try one since I keep complaining about it without ever using one. Now I am shooting Glock for IPSC and I love it. I am dreaming of more Glocks... Kool Aid...? Perhaps, but I like it.

Thats exactly what I DONT want to do!! Out of all my guns, the Glock is by far the least desirable , but I sure am shooting well with it. :cool:

Obviously its a user issue there cool guy, did you even read what I said? Im jerking the hell out of my single stage triggers after getting used to that mushy Glock BBQ lighter trigger. All im asking is if anyone else has experienced this problem.

Why must somebody always jump in to tell you your not shooting as well as they assumingly do....Goddamn internet peoples:ban:

And yet you entitled this thread "MAJOR Glock Problems" when you clearly know it has nothing to do with the hardware, cool guy.

Next time use your melon and don't waste people's time.

No "perfection" comment from this guy. I find it weird that you are unable to shoot your other pistols to the same level or close to that of your Glock. If you've spent a lot of time behind the polymer it will be a little different/foreign when you first go back to something else but there shouldn't be a nose dive in performance.

I think you just summed up exactly what I was thinking.
 
I've dismissed Glocks for so long because I thought they were ugly and no more accurate than other polymer pistols.... until I shot one.

Love the simple design and ease of maintenance; wide range of available aftermarket parts and accessories; and while some may think it's "mushy" or "squishy", a trigger that breaks predictably and easy to manipulate. I can now see why there's such a huge following of Glocks because it is just so easy to shoot one!

It's still "ugly" in my books, but it's so ugly/odd looking that I acutally find it quite attractive now.. Kinda like Kate Moss, bit of a strange looking complexion but if you stare at her long enough she becomes quite attractive. haha.
