375 Ruger

I've started thinking about replacing my Rem 700 LSS in 30-06 with a single shot rifle so action length is irrelevant to me in either 375 H&H or 375 Ruger.

I found the rifles I would get so I started looking for affordable brass/dies but so far every contact I have made does not have stock on the Ruger components so unless I can locate some soon I will be getting the H&H.

I'm also thinking that for this rifle/cartridge combo I will be getting the .375" 250gr TTSX bullets would load them to 2700fps max these should be able to handle anything I am wanting this rifle to do...

Try Omenica Sports in Vanderhoof, BC ask for Mark he is pretty good at finding stuff I believe they are a contributing dealer here so here is their link http://www.ominecasourceforsports.com/

I do believe they are out of stock of the 250 TTSX right now but should be doing another pre-order buy direct from Barnes soon.

FYI Mark is my source for 95gr TTSX in 6.8mm for my 6.8 SPC XCR-L...

I believe they are, on HBC but I don't know if they are on this site.

I may be heading back to Terrace for another 'visit' later this spring and time permitting, I may pop in again. On the last trip I also picked up an RCBS AmmoMaster Chronograph at Misty River in Terrace. I should know better, like when I go to the Edmonton area. These 'stop in shopping trips' while enjoyable visit 'diversions', are hard on the pocket book by the end of the trip:p.

:yingyang:Too short a meeting to make that judgement so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. In addition to an upcoming trip through the area on the way to Terrace, there 'may' later on be a Moose trip not too far away from Vanderhoof. If that comes to pass, I'll quite likely pay a visit to Omineca. :redface:On any trip, there's not many sporting goods outlets I miss when visiting, or passing through an area. :pAsk my wife.
 
Very nice Todd, I just ordered my Mcmillan for my future King this week. Why is that Leupold went 30mm with that scope?? Is it because of the Fire dot? Very nice set-up. I didn't even know Leupold had released this scope. Now this will be considered to put on my gun, along with the V3 2.5x8x36. Looking forward to your range report.
