put 750 through the chiappa 1911-22 yesterday with out a hiccup......going to be stocking up myself.
So far I have run through almost 12,000 AE 40gr LRN's
Out of 12K I had 15 rounds FTF that is unbelievable in terms or consistency in rimfire .22
I have ordered another 5000.
I try to buy it in 5K lots. That way I do not have to fiddle with my sights between bricks
In the last 5 or 6 years I am willing to bet I have doubled that between all the bolt action rifles. I remember boarding the Ferry with 25 000 rounds on the back seat of the truck under a blanket. I found it on sale for 15.99 a brick and couldn't resist. I know I have had to replenish the stockpile once since then, no FTF that I can recall, in anything I fired it in. I shot 10 shots under a dime at fifty yards with peep sights with a TOZ-12 I bought off the EE and that was it, had to buy all of it. I still have the target on the wall.

I shoot alot of Lapua center X but in moderation, American Eagle 40 grain in excessieness. I never had much luck with the 38 grain hollow point stuff though.
one should not brag about cost or accuracy unless they have a good stash and they don't have to worry about finding out there is a shortage at the local stores, due to this I am no longer able to comment until after I go shopping this afternoon.
when you swap ammo like you swap socks you should consider cleaning the barrel really really good and then foul it again with what your going to be shooting.
I know some people never clean their .22 barrels and I know some that do. Seams to me that all the guys shooting the tight groups are the same guys cleaning their rifles.
thank you so much everyone. You all have been a big help!!!
