Somewhere, deep in an unused salt mine in old Mother Russia, millions of SVT magazines and bayonets await uncrating and degreasing....
They were melted down to make more modern firearms, tanks, etc...
Kind of like all the cleaning rods, sight hoods, locking screws, and bayonets of the K98's they captured!![]()
Not in Mother Russia, they have been destroying obsolete military weapons for many months now sending them to the furnaces by the hundreds of thousands. A few left in the Ukraine, but they will be gone within the next year as depots are emptying quickly.
Why are they doing this? you make it sound like they are in a hurry.
