****Vortex Optics WOW!!!!****

Well I went to Wholesale sports in Calgary after work and purchased the Vortex Viper HD 8x42. I compared them again to the Swarvoski SLC HD 8x42 and they were exactly the same for quality lenses..... clearity, sharpness and true colours.

Having looked through some Vortex optics, I found them fairly impressive considering the price, but I certainly didn't find them equal to Swarovski,Leica, or Zeiss binoculars.

Did you compare them in low light conditions?....I did, no difference! As a whitetail trophy hunter every last second of the day counts when it comes to dusk and dawn times. Why in the hell would I pay for optics that are three times as much with the same quailty lenses? If you did see a difference is it worth the extra money to purchase the big ticket optics?
 
I have a pair of Viper 8x40 and they are excellent and were a steal. The warranty is also fabulous. My buddy dropped a pair of crossfires out of his treestand and they were replaced at no charge and the company knew how the damage occured. Vortex has a growing following for a reason.
