The Marksmen Club is next closest indoor club for me (I live in Markham). It's 1/2 the price (after about $200+ one time initiation fee). I let my Target membership expire due to air quality issues and the huge amount of walk-in noob traffic. Never heard of any accidents (which is expected at any range) at Target but letting noobs rapid fire spooks me or even just having one shooting next to me or a few stalls down every time I go just distracts me. Or when I let my 44 magnum rip, everyone stops and look around to see who is making the BOOM or flames. lol... Range B is not always open all the time but when it gets too busy, Range B fills up with noobs too.
At marksmen, hardly anyone takes a second look at who is shooting 44 magnum. Same with OGSC... It's business as usual... Marksmen is way smaller but it's never packed even on Sunday club hours so far. I usually shoot during odd hours and I find myself all alone. 24/7 is key. $350 is pretty steep but being able to shoot any time I want is priceless. Alas, i haven't gone in almost 3 months due to lack of shooting itch and time. 45 mins drive each way or (80km drive both ways adds up when it comes to these bloody high gas prices). I reload and cast so ammo costs less than gas used to get there.
