NEA Swiss Arms Lower (First Impressions) ***UPDATE***

Me thinks you need a cold shower and a beating with a rubber hose:kickInTheNuts:

Careful what you offer, NEA might take you up on it... Ha ha ha...

As for me, I'm currently standing on the sidelines, cheering enthusiastically & considering jumping into the fray...

Cheers
Jay

Here are the pics of the lower on my black special.

Chin weld is good lol, it was on there from when I had the origional stock and riser. It is better then I thought it would be but still not the best. I have an idea for an a2 stock and generic riser that I have, just have to wait until I have some time.

I think CAA sells a cheekpiece for the US M4-style cuttstock similar to the cheek risers available for magpul CTR stocks. Might work for you on this rifle.

IMO, the stock pic'd below makes the rifle look disproportionate.

It looks like a bulky receiver with a puny stock. Maybe the Magpul ACS or UBR would fill it out a bit more..?

But a slick product none-the-less...

I don't mind the look. I like it. For me, changing the stock is for two reasons;

1) Decrease the overall length (pull)

2) Decrease the weight

I think the regular old carbine stock or a CTR is the ticket. Maybe an ACR but I have yet to get my hands on one. The UBR is an over priced, heavy brick. It is well made but to me it almost fits the SPR roll better then the standard rifle or carbine. The PRS is definitely too heavy and immediately ruled out due to it's fixed length of pull.

Just my 2 cents.

Can somebody post pics of the lower sporting an LMT SOPMOD and Magpul UBR? Just wondering what they'd look like with this lower.

I'm thinking along the same lines.
I have two of these units, one for my carbine, and one for my CQB, and I'm likely going to go with ACR for the carbine, and CTR for the CQB.
I'll have to put in my order with Blaxsun for these, but won't be back 'in country' until next week to do the final fitting....

The PRS is adjustable, just not along the buffer tube. The buttplate has over 1" of adjustment if I recall.

OK fair enough, but I was talking about shortening it up for use with gear, definitely not making it longer.
