Are you sure? Looks too be about the same quality and I've shot the Hi-Points. They're solid and can handle full power 9x19. Maybe your miss-placed sarcasm should have been kept too yourself.

To the people saying "make it in 9mm and I will take it". The reason 380 is popular is because you can make your firearm a simple blowback design. That mean just the spring pressure holds back the slide, no complex locking system. That is a much cheaper and easier design. A 380 gun can not up 'upgraded' to 9mm without complete redesign and incorporation of a locking system or making both the slide huge in mass and the recoil spring very heavy in weight which would make for one big gun (e.g. Hi Point)
As a side note this is also the reason for the accuracy of most 380 pistols. The barrel is fixed on a blowback design and that makes it inherently more accurate, even if its a cheaply made gun.

With the laws made from men with the intelligence of a 5 year old with absolutely NO knowledge on what they are paid for, it wouldn't surprise me there actually IS a law. Stupidity never ceases to amaze me.

Just so I understand you. You mean an inertia type lock up with a heavy bolt and spring? No lugs or cams locking the bolt to the action?
If so then wouldn't the M11/9 be in that class. It started out as a 380 if I am not mistaken.

I love smg's or pmg's. Love my brs, loved my skorpion, loved my tp9 and now I am gonna love this hopefully.
