Spring Into Summer WCRA Level III May 19 - 22

Thanks to the weather gods and all the competitors for another great day of shooting. Day 1/2 results are up on the website. One more day to go.

Many thanks to all the folks who put on a great Level 111 Match at Waterloo . It sure looked like rain would be a factor at this match, but it turned out to be great weather Friday and Saturday. Hopefully, Sunday will be just as nice.
Really fun stages, just enough movement to make most shooters happy but not enough to tire us old farts out. How about that long stage? I thought the far targets were about 100 yards away. I enjoyed shooting the match and helping with the Range Officers duty. All and all, a great match. When can we expect another one?
 
Yes a very fun match challenging stages. Food was excellent.

Now I just have to wait to hear word on my PRIZE GUNS!!

My best performance ever........dropping 17 lbs over the past 5 weeks seems to have made a difference. WHO KNEW!!

Yes it seems they did not run the exception report as of yet...............

I am happy with the results so far. I will be even happier when all my stages are counted in the results.

The draws were held at the end of the day and unfortunately neither gun has a new home with me. The winners are posted in the scores section as well. Thanks again everyone for your support.
 
Thanks to those on my squad and the range staff that accomodate my 'shoot through' the last pit of the day so I could get away on time.

I agree on both counts. Great stages and match... and 2nd, Storm, I noticed you on the results and you did great. Good for you...Congrats !

I should take note and lose a few pounds as well...

Thanks to all the crew for a fun match and food too.

BTW, ROs got money back for working at the match. I think that was a nice touch on top of the random drawn prize table for match staff. Not to mention that couple competitors won guns!

All in all it was well worth the money. The best match I shoot this year, at the same level as Florida Open and Area 6 matches, but without the travel cost!
 
Thank You George, Warren, Dave and all the staff that made this match possible I know setting up was hard cause of the Rain..but still one of the best match that I have shot and I believe everybody had a great time. Thank you to all the sponsors!!!!
